Ian is an accomplished leader and former CEO of a Tasmanian wide provider of children’s disability services. He has had 30 years’ experience in public practice accountancy and auditing. His passion for serving the community is evidenced by numerous Board positions.

Jane Gaetani-Black - Vice-Chair
With extensive expertise and experience in project management and governance, Jane’s senior management roles typically involve the development of health and related aged care policies, programs across State Government inpatient and subacute health services. Skilled in change management, collaboration and communication, Jane has successfully transitioned into the not-for-profit sector as CEO Karinya Young Women’s Service.

John Crawford

John is a Chartered Accountant and Business Valuation Specialist, working as a Partner of Launceston accounting firm Watson & Hegarty. He has a broad experience working with a range of clients and industries throughout Tasmania, including NDIS and not-for-profit institutions. John is a proud resident of Launceston and a strong believer in the importance of diversity and inclusion.

Elisabeth Baraka

Elisabeth Baraka - Director
Elisabeth has over 20 years of experience as a lawyer, non-profit manager, and non-executive director. She has worked globally on rule of law, human rights, and sustainable development, and is currently the Chief Operations Officer at the Australasian Centre for Corporate Responsibility.

Erin Bonner

Erin Bonner - Director
Erin has considerable skills in strategic business planning, operational and financial management, risk analysis and human resources. She currently works as the Planning and Analysis Lead and Site Manager for Aurora Energy. She also volunteers with Lifelink Samaritans Inc.

John Kirwan

John Kirwan - Director
John Kirwan has had over 40 years of experience in operational, policy, and advocacy roles, in the health industry in WA, NT, and Tasmania. John holds Fellowships from the Institute of Public Administration Australia and the Australian Human Resources Institute and has a specific interest in Aboriginal employment and advocating for the use of ‘stewardship’ as a preferred model for the public sector.

Roger has an extensive background in small business, horticulture and agriculture. He has 30 years’ experience in governance, strategic planning, facilitation and training in numerous organisations including President of Tamar NRM and until recently, President of Landcare Tasmania.

MRCN’s Ambassador Dr the Hon Frank Madill AM MStJ FRACGP
Author, retired Parliamentarian, GP and dedicated to the community of Launceston, Dr Madill made Tasmania his home in 1966 and commenced General Practice in 1968. Dr Madill was elected to the Tasmanian House of Assembly in 1986. He was Cabinet Minister from 1992-96. His portfolios included Multicultural Affairs and Police and Emergency Services. He is an author of four books and is a life member of numerous organisations. Dr Madill has been a recipient of many awards, including Member of the Order of Australia for services to Parliament, Medicine and the Community.
